Jaume is a Political Science graduate, specialising in International Relations, with a 15-year strong career on public health issues. His particular area of interest is the intersection between intellectual property rights, innovation, access to health technologies and human rights. His professional experience includes roles in various international organisations, think tanks and non-government organisations
Jaume assists with HAI’s advocacy and campaign work in Europe, including taking the lead on our work on trade and research and development. He is also responsible for the implementation of funded advocacy and campaign activities, monitoring those activities and ensuring that donor requirements are met within agreed timeframes.
Before joining HAI, Jaume was an independent consultant providing advice and technical assistance to organisations and entities on international policy, advocacy and access to innovation, amongst other topics.
A Barcelona native, Jaume is fluent in Catalan, Spanish, English and French.
