Cecilia Sison is currently the Country Coordinator of the Medicines Transparency Alliance (MeTA) Philippines. A public health advocate with a focus on improving access to medicines, she works with the Department of Health Advisory Council on the Implementation of the Cheaper Medicines Law, the Coalition for Safe Medicines, and the Philippine Health Research Ethics Board. With experience in building multi-stakeholder networks, she is also currently engaged with the Coalition for Health Advocacy and Transparency, The ETHIKOS Movement, and the Alternative Budget Initiative – Health Cluster. She has chaired organising teams for various projects, and has skills in strategic planning, program management, and developing information and advocacy campaigns.
