The HAI team is pleased to be attending the World Health Summit in Berlin!
We will be following discussions across a number of important health related issues, and in particular:
- Healthcare workers are well-positioned to protect public health through supporting healthy information environments and fostering trust with patients and communities. However, without adequate resources and support to do so, efforts can cause more harm than good. Resources must be made available to healthcare workers to help them support patients, while understanding their own risk and susceptibility to mis/disinformation.
Artificial Intelligence in health
- When used appropriately, Artificial Intelligence has the potential to significantly improve healthcare delivery and quality of care. Regulation and adoption of AI in healthcare must account for patient’s fundamental rights and consider the needs of key populations who may face barriers to accessing these innovations or be underrepresented in the data used to develop them.
