In the European Union, sky-rocketing medicine prices strain public health budgets and keep patients from accessing the medicines they need. Governments have the tools at their disposal to tackle the problem but, for many reasons, have not used them to any great effect.
What are the tools that can help improve access to essential medicines? What are the obstacles to their use? How can governments overcome these barriers to the benefit of public health?
Where You Come In
The Health Action International Great Health Hack brings experts from civil society and academia together with technology professionals, developers and students to answer these questions and come up with a new, innovative, tech-based approach to improving access to medicines in Europe. Putting your brains and skills to the test, you’ll be teamed up with others from a variety of backgrounds to, in just a few hours, come up with the most innovative and workable solution.
You will receive a Masterclass from one of the Netherlands’ top experts to get you up to speed on the subject matter.
