There is widespread consensus that the current pharmaceutical system is not functioning adequately. Change is needed to ensure a more sustainable and equitable future. We must develop a broader strategy to move towards a public pharmaceutical infrastructure that is driven by public health needs. This will require intense political mobilization of European civil society, which this event is being organised to ignite.
During this 2-day hybrid conference, civil society, activists, scholars and many more will look towards how we can achieve public infrastructure for medicines, medical products, and tools for everyone in Europe. It will be an opportunity to review current proposals, discuss innovations, strategise and plan action for change.
