Organized by HAI and the Brazilian Interdisciplinary AIDS Association at the WTO Public Forum 22, this working session brings together leading experts and practitioners from international organizations, academic institutions, and non-governmental organizations, and intends to critically review and discuss law and policy options to facilitate access to and transfer of health technologies in developing countries. These would include discussions on technology transfer issues under the TRIPS regime, other laws and policy options such as competition law, access and benefit-sharing mechanism and regulations on foreign investment, among others.
