Angharad joined HAI as an SRHR Program Officer in November 2024, contributing to the SHARP and Solutions Burundi projects. She holds an MSc in Psychology from the University of Derby and an MA in Human Geography from the University of Edinburgh.
She brings eight years of experience supporting local, national, and regional projects in children’s rights, health, social care, and development. Prior to joining HAI, she worked as a Project Coordinator at Child Helpline International, where she focused on evidence-based advocacy, capacity building and strengthening of psycho-social support helplines. This work emphasised the critical importance of ensuring young people have access to high-quality advice and support as they navigate complex issues from relationships, sexual health and family planning.
Angharad has also coordinated projects for local NGOs providing specialised care to adults and young people with disabilities. Her experience includes managing projects funded by the EU and UNICEF.
