James Still, BInSt (UNSW)
James is a communications and public policy specialist with more than six years’ experience developing and executing communications campaigns. He works alongside the policy team to create engaging and effective campaigns that help raise awareness of the barriers to affordable and accessible medicine around the world.
Prior to joining Health Action International in 2016, James worked for the Australian Minister for Health (2011-2013), Hon. Tanya Plibersek MP, with responsibility for coordinating the government’s key political and public policy messages to the general public through the Minister’s digital and online communication platforms. James also has experience working in advertising, the union movement, and for a leading social media consultancy in Amsterdam.
In additional to holding a Bachelor of International Relations from the University of New South Wales in Australia, James has undertaken extensive training in speechwriting, media relations, social media engagement and content creation.
